Biography:
Morgan Flowers, MSN, FNP, specializes in pediatric medicine and will serve patients at Pediatrics of Newberry. She recently was a nurse in the emergency department at Prisma Health Richland. Morgan earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She likes to be outdoors, cook and spend time with family.

Dr. Monk is a board-certified pediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care. Having grown up in Lexington, South Carolina, she is proud to serve the community she has long called home. Go Wildcats!
She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from North Greenville College before obtaining her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she also completed her residency in Pediatrics. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
As a mother of two daughters, Dr. Monk brings both clinical expertise and real-life parenting experience to her practice. She enjoys partnering with families to support children’s health and development at every stage.
Her professional interests include preventive care, promoting healthy diet & lifestyle habits, and participating in international medical missions, with experience in both Romania and Honduras.
Outside of the office, Dr. Monk enjoys painting, swimming, reading, mentoring students through her church, getting coffee with friends and planning her next trip to Disney.
