Laura M. Ledlie
MD, FAAP
Dr. Ledlie grew up in Columbia and dreamed of being a pediatrician at Sandhills from a young age. She was inspired by her childhood pediatrician Dr. Charlie James. She earned her undergraduate degree from Wofford College and her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She remained in her hometown of Columbia to complete residency at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Ledlie says her greatest joy is watching families grow. She loves all stages of development from newborns to the sometimes challenging years of college. After being at Sandhills for many years she now has the blessing of second generation families.
Outside of work, Dr. Ledlie loves traveling and spending time with her twin daughters.

Devi Walters
MD, FAAP
Dr. Walters grew up in Augusta, Georgia, and then earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Georgia Tech before attending the Medical College of Georgia for medical school. She always had a heart for children, so pediatrics felt like the natural path when her love for medicine grew.
She completed her pediatric residency at Prisma Health, where she discovered a special passion for outpatient pediatrics. She values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and their families and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them through every stage of childhood.
Dr. Walters met her husband, Ryan, during medical school. He is a family medicine physician, who enjoys running and makes amazing sourdough bread. Together, they have three fun and energetic children who keep life full of adventure - whether they’re playing outside or asking for their next snack!
Outside of medicine, Dr. Walters enjoys being actively involved in her church community, where her family has found sweet fellowship and connection. In her free time, she loves running, playing the drums, traveling, and participating in medical mission trips when opportunities arise.
She feels honored to care for children and families in the community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with each family she serves.
